JOB OPENING – BOSTON, MA
CDL B AND/OR CDL A CLASS DRIVER WANTED FOR ESTABLISHED SEAFOOD COMPANY
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to transporting freight performing pick-ups and drop offs within the Boston City boundaries and beyond. Performing final box counts, quality control checks on pick-up orders, temperature monitoring, palletizing orders, loading and unloading trucks, packing orders, cleaning and sanitizing trucks and various other tasks. Weekends are a must but are on a rotating basis. Ability to become TSA Certified a plus but not required. English and Spanish speaking a plus but not required. The position is a full time position to start immediately.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a valid MA Driver’s license or equivalent. A Clean Driving Record will be verified. Prior driving experience a plus especially around the City of Boston. Test drive will be required prior to employment offer. Must be able to drive a Pallet Jack Machine. Must be comfortable working in a cold and wet environment Knowledge of HACCP and SQF a plus but not required.
