Position Summary
We are hiring a CDL Driver for part-time (15-20 hours) or full-time, year-round work to operate pump trucks and roll-off trucks. The ideal candidate will have experience with both vehicle types, a valid Tanker Endorsement, and a commitment to safety and customer service.
Qualifications
• Valid Class A CDL (preferred) or Class B CDL, with Tanker Endorsement required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating pump trucks and/or roll-off trucks.
• Valid Medical Card.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Familiarity with Cape Cod roads and disposal/recycling facilities is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate pump trucks to transport greywater/septic/grease trap waste to designated facilities, ensuring safe handling and compliance with regulations.
• Drive roll-off trucks to deliver and retrieve dumpsters at construction sites, commercial properties, and disposal/recycling facilities.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical and safety compliance.
• Secure loads properly and follow DOT regulations for safe transport.
• Maintain accurate driving logs, collect receipts or signatures, and complete required paperwork via tablet or paper.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to ensure efficient route completion.
• Follow safety procedures and report any vehicle defects, accidents, or issues promptly.
• Provide professional customer service on-site, representing Tsakalos Realty Trust.
