Concrete Mixer Driver 

Perform duties as directed by Manager while operating a concrete mixer truck. Employee will transport concrete to various job sites in a timely and safe manor. Experience driving a mixer is a plus.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Pre-trip mixer prior to the operation of truck. Check and maintain fluids in the vehicle, Grease vehicle and report any defects to Manager
• Work with equipment operators and plant technicians in loading concrete into the mixer
• Must be able to work with customers and take direction to unload the concrete
• After dispensing load drive must promptly and thoroughly wash the mixer out
• Regularly communicate with dispatch
• Must be willing to shovel and clean as needed
• Report any unsafe conditions to your Manager
• Keep a clean and clear work area free of debris and safe for preforming work
• At all times work in a safe manner
• Must be flexible and willing to do anything else management assigns as tasks
• Must be willing to get MSHA certified

Work Schedules and Hours: 

While work schedules and hours may vary somewhat depending on peak seasons. In general, applicable work schedules include Monday - Friday 7a-3:30pm with a 30 minute lunch and Overtime as job dictates. Willingness to work Saturday’s and snow removal is a plus.

Qualifications and Education Requirements: 

All successful candidates will have passed both a physical examination and drug/alcohol screen. Concrete mixer driver must have a minimum of a valid CDL B driver’s license, complete a drug test and a background check. Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.
