We are seeking CDL A & B Drivers - We want you to join our team!
This position will be focused on Box truck, Roll off and Vacuum Truck Transportation of hazardous and non-hazardous wastes, but there maybe times where you are asked to drive other equipment or assist with labor on various projects.
Some Responsibilities Include:
- Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck
- Load and unload cargo
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Inspect truck before and after trip
- Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Maintain daily logs, time sheets, trip and dispatch reports, and vehicle inspection reports
- Comply with all policies & procedures and maintain up to date training pertaining to DOT & OSHA requirements, including Hazardous Materials/Waste (HAZMAT) and RCRA requirements/regulations
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
- Commercial driver's license (CDL Class A or B) (Hazmat and tanker endorsements a plus)
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong work ethic
- Able to work in team atmosphere
- Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening
