General Purpose of Job:
The general purpose of this position is to provide transportation of products and materials for Rocket Farms Herbs, Inc., at the direction of transportation supervision or management using the vehicles provided.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Possess a valid Class “C” or higher driver license with an appropriate “violation free” DMV driver history for the past three years.
· Competent driving ability for the vehicle classifications listed below.
· Completes daily pre-trip and post trip vehicle inspections.
· Ensures refrigeration unit is pre-cooled before loading product.
· Capable of lifting 50lbs without assistance.
· Verifies load based on the manifest before loading shipment.
· Notes any discrepancies on the manifest and obtains proper signature noting discrepancies.
· Delivers product to customer at proper refrigerated temperature.
· Obtains Proof of Delivery (POD) signature on manifest.
· Immediately calls dispatch and informs dispatcher of any rejected shipments or loads and the reason for rejection.
· Returns POD and manifests to Transportation Supervisor or designated alternate.
· Completes and turns in all required paperwork prior to end of shift.
· Other duties as assigned.

· Commercial vehicles weighing 26,000 or less.
· Refrigerated containers
· Forklift
· Pallet jack
· Electronic driver logbook
· Cellphone
Physical Demands:
· Up to 1/3 of time: Climb or balance/reach with hands & arms
· 1/3 to 2/3 of time: Stand/walk/sit/use hands to finger, handle or feel, 2/3 and more of time: Talk or listen
Work Environment:
· Up to 2/3 of time: Outdoor weather conditions
· Up to 1/2 of time: Cold Temperatures
· Noise Level: Moderate
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent, or combination of experience and education |
· Possess a valid Class “C” or higher driver license with a clean DMV driver history for the past three years. |
· Ability to understand and communicate in English; |
· Must be able to work as part of a team as well as independently. Salary: · Salary is based on experience and discussed with qualified applicants during the interview process. |
